As a preventative measure to decrease the spread of COVID-19, some municipal governments across the country have approved ordinances requiring the use of masks or face coverings in enclosed public spaces. In communities that have chosen to adopt this practice, CCFBank employees and customers will be required to follow the ordinance and wear a mask or face covering while on bank premises.

Employees

  • While employees in applicable communities are required to wear a mask, if a health condition prevents wearing a mask, please contact Human Resources for further guidance.

Customers Banking by Appointment

  • While our office lobbies remain closed, local ordinances may impact our bank by appointment strategy. For customers seeking access to the bank lobby, CCF will require adherence to local ordinances on facemask usage (as is the case in Mankato).
  • For security purposes in communities with mask requirements, bank employees are expected to meet customers by the front entrance to welcome and properly ID them. The customer should temporarily remove their mask and show proper identification prior to entering the branch.
  • Should the customer choose to defy the ordinance, access should be denied and the drive up can be offered as an alternative option. When setting up a bank by appointment meeting, sharing bank entry protocol and expectations in advance with the customer is the recommended best practice.
